Active Working Group: STEM BEST Program Selection and Guidance
Charge: Design RFP (completed). Select applicants for recommendation to the executive committee for funding.

Active Working Group: STEM Scale-Up Program Selection
Charge: Undergo online training to select from a pool of proposals the programs most suitable to scaling up in Iowa based on established criteria. Recommend up to five additional programs to the executive committee.

Active Working Group: STEM Active Learning Community Partners
Charge: Identify and make recommendations for ways in which the STEM Council can support out-of-school STEM education. Deliver a set of recommendations for ways in which the STEM Council can support out-of-school STEM education. Report progress to STEM Council on December 9, 2014; March 30, 2015; June 23, 2015; and produce final project by July 1, 2015.

Active Working Group: STEM Support of Arts and Culture
Charge: Identity ways and means for STEM Council to support and interface with arts & culture across Iowa. Provide the Council recommendations to partner, support and integrate with art and culture assets and professionals.

Charge: Identify how the Council can support agricultural science, including how ag. science might satisfy graduation requirements as core science credited.
