STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair

Join us for STEM Day at the Iowa State Fair hosted by the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council on August 23, 2015. The festivities begin at 9 a.m. with admission tickets to the State Fair discounted at $6 for adults ages 12+, $3 for children ages 6-11 and children under age 5 are free.

Visit the State Fair’s Grand Concourse to learn about how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) touches our lives daily and experience hands-on activities from more than 20 organizations across the state. While you’re there, don’t forget to stop by our booth in front of the Service Center to pick up your FREE drawstring backpack, say hello to the Iowa STEM operations team, and start the STEM Day at the Fair Scavenger Hunt. There will also be STEM-related performances on the MidAmerican and Knapp Stages throughout the morning.
